Rent

On this site, you can rent the photographic exhibition "un autre regard" for 15 minutes in digital format for a period of 48 hours. Rental is subject to Belgian VAT on artistic works at a rate of 6%.

Reproduction of any or all of the works on this site is strictly prohibited.

If you would like an invoice, please send your request to didier@conseil-equitable.com, specifying the date of your purchase. Please be sure to provide all the information you require. Institutions, companies and any private or public entity are not authorised to hire the exhibition via the site for public distribution.

Reimbursement of rental costs is only possible in the event of a proven technical impossibility to view the digital work. After purchase, rental is open for 48 hours. In the event of a technical problem, please send a request to didier@conseil-equitable.com within 72 hours of purchase, providing proof of the impossibility of viewing the video by any means (screenshot, for example). Fairtrade Advice will send you a private link with an access code allowing you to view the video and not lose your purchase. This link will be automatically deactivated after 48 hours.

- Rental refund policy

In certain exceptional cases, if you prefer to be refunded, the refund will be made on a pro rata basis - excluding service charges of 1.9% and 30 euro cents. The transfer will be made to the account used for the purchase within two months. To be admissible and to request a refund, an email accompanied by your bank details must be sent to the following address: didier@conseil-equitable.com within 72 hours of the purchase, providing proof of the impossibility of having viewed the video by any means (screenshot for example) or explaining the detailed reason for your request for a refund. Conseil Équitable reserves the right to judge the admissibility of the request in good faith. No reimbursement will be made on the basis of non-appreciation of the video, for example.

Donation

As part of the Mémoire de luttes project, we are organising a collection via a donation, which is immediate and non-refundable - except in cases of force majeure, i.e. (incorrect insertion of the amount, personal problem, etc.). A deduction of 10% of the amount paid will be applied (i.e. administrative costs and taxes collected by Leetchi).

• Purchase / Sale as part of the Mémoire de Luttes project: the opening up and adoption of marriage to same-sex couples 

Conseil Équitable offers derivative products carefully selected by Dream-Act. These products are made in France, in an eco-responsible manner. Conseil Équitable therefore only uses Dream Act's technical elements and cannot be held responsible for any aberrations. However, Conseil Équitable undertakes to immediately stop production or demand a refund if these products do not respect the environment or social responsibility for reasons that cannot be foreseen.

• Applicable tax(s)

As Conseil Équitable is based in Brussels, we apply the Belgian VAT rate of 21% or 6% for the sale of photos. The prices shown include VAT. If you are a professional, we suggest that you order directly by contacting us by e-mail at didier@conseil-equitable.com, as self-liquidation is possible for purchases outside Belgium and the European Union.

• Payment 

Payment for these products is made by credit card, online payment (Apple Pay) or bank transfer when the order is placed. Refunds are possible within the withdrawal period. However, once the products have been sent, Conseil Équitable will no longer refund, except in exceptional circumstances and in cases of force majeure. Responsibility is transferred on the day of dispatch. A photo proof will be kept if the purchaser chooses to send the goods by post.

• Delivery: 

Delivery is made by simple or tracked mail on request, this will incur costs borne by the purchaser. Both options are available during online sales. If you choose simple mail to reduce costs, we will do our utmost to ensure that it reaches you. However, we cannot guarantee the reliability of this method of delivery and suggest that you take the tracked option, even if this involves a potential additional cost. Once your order has been delivered, we will not issue a refund, although an exchange is possible. Except in cases of force majeure, delivery costs will be at your expense.  Products are dispatched from Belgium or France. They can be delivered by hand when passing through France or Belgium.

• The products sold are made in small quantities. (limited editions). In the event of a request for reimbursement, we will respect the legal deadlines and European and national regulations. 

• Right of withdrawal in the case of distance selling (e.g. via the Internet)

• Withdrawal period :

• For all distance selling contracts, except in special situations, you are legally entitled to a right of withdrawal

• The regulations provide for :

a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days;

When you buy goods or services via an online shop, a call-centre or a mail-order company, this is a distance sale. There is no physical contact between buyer and seller when the purchase is made. The transaction takes place via an organised distance selling system.

What you need to know
In the case of distance selling, as a consumer you are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of 14 calendar days.

This period begins the day after delivery of the goods or conclusion of the service contract.

The seller has a legal duty to provide information about this consumer right.

You have the right to examine and try on the goods you receive, in the same way as you would in a shop.

You can, for example, try on clothes, but you cannot test a kitchen appliance that would inevitably leave marks if used.

You may be held responsible for any loss of value of the goods due to handling beyond what is necessary to ascertain their characteristics and correct operation.

If you make use of the right of withdrawal, you must return the goods received as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to cancel the purchase. 
Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

Refunds
Within 14 days of being informed of your decision to cancel the purchase, we will refund any payments received, including delivery costs. The seller (us) may wait until the goods have been returned or until proof of despatch has been provided.

Retention of title: 

We reserve the right of ownership until payment has been made and received in our bank account.

Pre-orders: 

You agree at the time of payment, that the products will potentially be produced and delivered at a date as yet unknown (probably before the summer of 2023).

Disputes and jurisdiction :

 

Conseil Équitable will endeavor to find a satisfactory solution by all possible means. If a dispute should arise, the competent court will be the commercial court of Brussels-Capital.
